Supporting Early Detection: The NCSR and Australia's National Lung Cancer Screening Program 19 December 2025 – In 2025, it is estimated that around 15,100 people will be diagnosed with lung cancer and there will be almost 9,000 deaths. In the program’s first six months more than 45,000 low-dose CT scans have been completed.

The National Cancer Screening Register is now integrated with Gastroenterology software EndoVault GI 15 October 2025 – Specialist healthcare providers using EndoVault can now submit colonoscopy information to the National Cancer Screening Register (NCSR) directly from a patient record.
