Impact of floods on the National Cancer Screening Programs
Due to the localised flooding in some states, Australia Post deliveries in affected areas have ceased temporarily. Visit the Australia Post website for details of affected areas.
This may have impacted the delivery of mail from the National Bowel Cancer Screening Program and National Cervical Screening Program to some areas.
Our first priority is to ensure that participants with a positive bowel or cervical screening test result receive the follow up they need.
If you have recently done a bowel screening test, you or your GP can call the Bowel Screening Helpline on 1800 930 998 to hear your results.
If you have recently done a cervical screening test your healthcare provider is responsible for providing you with your results.
